Often through the joy of the Advent and Christmas season, many of us will be reminded of people who have died recently or of other things that have been lost: jobs, other relationships, health, etc. We feel the need to have the space and time to acknowledge our sadness and concern; we need to know we are not alone.

For these reasons, Pickford Presbyterian is going to offer a Longest Night Service on Sunday, December 20^th at 5:00 p.m. Come out and let us join together in sharing and hearing prayers, scriptures, and music that acknowledges that God’s presence is also for those who mourn, struggle, and face difficulties and that God continues to be with us as we face those things. Everyone, regardless of church background (or lack of it), is welcome.
